Absolutely love this place! The food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. Huge variety from classic General Tso’s chicken to dim sum and even sushi. The staff is friendly and keeps everything clean and stocked. Great value for the price.

May 18, 2025 - Highlights: a wide variety despite the relatively few rows, rich flavors and each dish tasting different, staff is on top of things and kept trays full, I really liked almost every dish. I am not native to Oregon, and have found the local food so far to be... lackluster. Lacking salt, flavor, and pretty much any spice at all. I was expecting this buffet to be more of the same. Boy am I glad I was wrong! There is a wide variety of dishes, and each one tasted different and had flavor. It's the first dinner in Oregon that I haven't been reaching for salt and my husband reaching for hot sauce. (Not that even the few 'spicy' dishes were at all too hot, but everything had flavor. ) I usually find a good buffet has at least a few more dishes I like than don't like.... Here, it would be easier to list the couple I wasn't impressed with, because I really did like almost every single one. The low points: fried chicken was meh, the spring roll was just okay, and the fortune cookie was a little tough. That's it, and I tried a bite of almost everything (and went back for several items as well). Top of my favorites list was the green beans. I know, right? Not really what you would expect. Other favorites were the variety and unique steamed buns, several shrimp styles, and the bold flavor of the chicken on a stick. Of a unique note, the rice noodles are lightly curry flavor. I can't decide if I like that or not, but had seconds because the taste is intriguing. And husband liked both the fried rice and the rice-milk pudding. Both of which are usually not our favorite things on a buffet. The Chinese doughnut was a great desert, but don't miss the mini custards and assorted additional things in the cases on the end of some of the rows. Reading reviews, it seems this restaurant has changed hands recently, and there was a Grand Opening sign out front. I really hope they keep the quality up to this great standard in the future, as it is definitely going to be our go-to whenever we are in Eugene.

I was amazed by how good all the food was. Delicious! Even the sushi was very tasty. Even a Mongolian Grill to build a meal.

China Sun Buffet recently changed ownership and now called Lucky Buffet. I believe those cockroach pictures on the reviews are from pervious ownership. The new buffet is very clear and I didn't see any bugs in our dining area. It is a really good choice if you're looking for an Asian and American dishes. The food was mostly fresh and well-stocked. The flavored were good and nothing tasted like it had been sitting out too long. The service was friendly and quick. Our plates were cleared fast. Love this place and would like to recommend for everyone.

Came here with the whole family and everyone found something they loved. Great value for the price, and the hibachi station was a hit with the kids. Clean, well-lit, and great customer service.

One of the better Chinese buffets I’ve ever been to. Sushi: Perfect rice, good variations. Meats: Juicy and flavorful. Fried rice: Super delicious, not too greasy. Ice cream: the bomb. Other dessert options: Pretty standard, still good. Our favorites this time were: - Coconut shrimp - Korean BBQ Pork - Fried rice - Sushi Service is normal. Prices are middle of the road - what you’d expect in this economy. Something super odd is that this place has raw meat available as an entreé. Yeah - entirely chicken, pork, and beef. It’s marinated in something I believe, however there is still a sign warning you of the potential risk of pathogens. We didn’t dare to indulge.

Lunch is 13, all you can eat from 11 am until 3:25 pm. Fried fish, baked salmon, I like the spicy sauteed shrimp. There are beef, chicken and pork dishes, fruits, vegetables, salad bar, dessert, raw food the cook will make for you and a sushi bar.
